16 Hours of Continuing Education
The State of New Mexico requires all Early Child Care Providers to take 24 hours of Continuing Education each year in 7 different competency areas. There is one caveat to this. Early Childhood Care Providers can take 16 hours of the continuing education online! As you can see our 16 Hours of continuing education is a huge benefit. It saves the center and the employee valuable time and is very convenient.
Our modules are designed so that the care provider can easily read through the material during break, nap time, whenever!
Students are provided access to the course for a period of one year. Students will complete up to 16 modules and will receive a certificate of completion. There are Homework Activity and a Test for each Module.
The 16 Hour course was developed by the New Mexico Child Care and Education Association and is approved by CYFD.
